At Alford Primary School we are particularly proud of our extra-curricular activities which provide a programme full of exciting opportunities which further enhance and extend our curriculum.
Extra-curricular clubs are run voluntarily by staff of the school. Clubs change on a termly basis in order to offer as much choice as possible. Unfortunately some clubs have limited numbers. Where clubs are oversubscribed we will allocate places on a random basis.

It is extremely important that you are aware that children must attend each club that they have signed up for.
Children who attended a club last term do not need a new permission slip. Children attending a new club, or joining an existing club, will need a signed permission slip. If children do not wish to attend a continuing club, their parents should inform us.
If for any reason your child does not wish, or is unable, to attend, permission must be given to the office for them to leave school at 3.15pm. You can either phone the office or send a note into school with your child.
If you arrive to collect your child at 3.15pm you will be asked by the teacher to come along to the office before leaving to confirm that your child will not be attending their club.
